Clean · Crushable · Kombucha
Nine years of fermenting in Lexington, Kentucky — with fruit we cut ourselves, <10 grams of sugar, and under 50 calories a can.
The lineup
Hover a flavor to taste your way through it.

Ginger + Lime + Mint
Our hometown in a can. Fresh-pressed ginger with real lime and mint — bracing, dry, and the most refreshing thing in the lineup on a hot Lexington afternoon.
Strawberry + Pineapple + Vanilla
Ripe strawberry up front, pineapple through the middle, and a soft vanilla finish that rounds the acidity off. The one we hand people who say they don't like kombucha.
Blueberry + Dry-Hopped
Blueberry fermented dry, then dry-hopped like a pale ale. Comes out floral and resinous rather than sweet — the closest thing we make to a beer replacement.
Lemon + Lavender + Butterfly Pea
Butterfly pea blossom turns it the colour you see in the can — no dye involved. Lemon keeps it bright, lavender keeps it calm. The most floral brew we make.

Made in-house
Most of what's sold as kombucha now is flavoured with pasteurised purée or a syrup that never met a piece of fruit. We build our own fermentation from tea and time, then juice and press everything that goes into it on site.
How it works
Twelve or twenty-four cans of one flavor, a mixed variety pack, or a subscription you build yourself.
Orders go out every Wednesday so your cans are as fresh as they can be and arrive before the weekend.
It's alive, so it lives in the fridge. Shipping is free on every order, every time.

Choose the flavors, choose how often, change it whenever. The easiest way to never run out, and you're never locked in.

"After leaving Lexington KY, I was really missing my favorite local kombucha and not getting my Thrive 'fix'. The mass market varieties just don't make the grade, so I was so excited that Thrive Brew started shipping. Now I get fresh booch delivered to my door every month."
Samantha Langley★★★★★
"After struggling with IBS and finding myself too busy to go out and get kombucha, I signed up for the subscription and it has been one of the best decisions. I can trust Thrive Brew to use high-quality, whole ingredients — and their flavors are unparalleled."
Meghan Williams★★★★★
"Thrive Brew Kombucha is the best. I love that it's made locally in Lexington KY with all fresh ingredients, and getting a subscription has been a game changer. I work a lot and can't always make it to the store or farmers markets."

Real kombucha is a fermented food, and fermented foods have a genuine, well-studied track record — digestion, gut flora, even mood. The catch is that a lot of what's sold as kombucha now is barely fermented at all.
We ferment ours from scratch and never pasteurise it, which is what keeps the live probiotics and organic acids intact by the time you drink it.
About 10 grams — less than a small apple. The common trick in this category is to ferment briefly and then add sugar back in for taste. We don't. What's in the can comes from the fermentation itself and the fruit we press into it, so you get real flavour without the crash.
Every flavour lands under 50 calories per 12oz can. Blush and Butterfly are 46, Kentucky Mule 47, Sapphire 48.
We buy fruit, herbs and roots from local farms and premium suppliers, and we cut and press all of it here. When the can says pineapple, someone in this building cut a pineapple.
What we don't use: pasteurised purées, flavour concentrates, artificial sweeteners, or colour. Butterfly's colour comes from butterfly pea blossom, not dye.
Fair question. A $2.50 bottle of kombucha is cheap because it was cheaply made, and a cheaply made kombucha usually isn't doing what it claims to do.
A 12-pack is $65, which works out to $5.42 a can. Step up to the 24-pack at $105 and it drops to $4.38 a can — that's the best price we offer. A subscription is $120 for 24 cans with the flavours and cadence you pick.
If you'd rather not commit to twelve of one thing first time round, the Variety Pack is the same $65 and gets you a spread of what's brewing.
